Suvla pursues producing wines of great density, rich in character with elegant and exquisite finish to complement food.

A very distinguished terruar and high winery standards enable the winemaker to perform every detail flawless. Suvla Wines have young premium, premium and ultra premium labels to satisfy different tastes. 60 labels of whites, roses and reds are placed in the markets with enthusiasm by the public. The wines of Suvla is already listed in the leading 5 star hotels, A+ restaurants and available on gross-market chain retail and wine-store shelves in Turkey with the series; Behramlı, Bigalı, Kocadere and Kumkale private labels and Kilitbahir, Kabatepe, Suvla, Kirte, Sur, Sır, Suvla Reserve, Suvla Grand Reserve, Natural Sparkling Wine and Late Harvest Natural Sweet Wine.

By being a young brand launched in 2012, Suvla is awarded by over 650 top level medals in several national and international wine contests. Lately in 2023 Suvla has been awarded as 3 times a row in 2020-2021-2022 “Best winery in Balkan’s” in The Balkan’s International Wine Competition. "Best of Show Turkey" from Mundus Vini and 2 Grand Gold awards from 2 contests Mundus Vini and Vinaria in 2023. Suvla Wines have young premium, premium and ultra premium labels to satisfy different tastes. Totally 60 labels of whites, roses and reds are placed in the markets with enthusiasm by the public.

 

Vineyard and Winery

Surrounded by pine trees with a smell of intense resin in the air, the vineyards have the hardpan soil and the northwest wind prevailing the micro climate which provide highly convenient terroir for the maturation of high quality grapes. Vineyard was planted in 2003 and nestled on the historical Peninsula of Gallipoli in Kabatepe region between the North Aegean coast and Marmara seas. The vineyard was set under the certification of 'Good Agriculture Practice-GAP' in 2003 and switched to organic certification by 2013. As 2023 the vineyard is qualifed for “EU approved organic certificate”.

The winery is only 3 to14 km far from vineyards, which makes it possible to obtain ultimate quality chateu style wines. Stabilization infrastructure and the special equipments help the winemakers to keep all aromas and tannins in the juice. Selected wines are aged in over 1000 oak barrels for premium labels. The winery team consists of specialized oenologs, winemakers, cellarhands and French consultants. The team has a great energy to craft wines of different labels with unique techniques.

KABATEPE
Young blend wines. No oak. No bottle aging. Suggested consumption is 1-2 years time after the bottling. White, Blush, Red.

KUMKALE
Young blend wines made of 2 varieties, one is indigenous. No oak. No bottle aging. Suggested consumption is 1-2 years time after the bottling. White and Red.

SUVLA
Young and crisp wines. Partially oak matured. No bottle aging. Suggested consumption is 1-3 years time after the bottling.

KIRTE
Crisp blend wines with special character and style. Partially oak matured. No bottle aging. Suggested consumption is 1-3 years time after the bottling.

SUVLA SUR
Strong, well balanced blend wines. The line of Suvla which is designed by the winemakers as a special blend. Oak barrel maturing 3-12 months.

SUVLA SIR
Elegant, well balanced blend wines. The blend line of Suvla which is designed by the winemakers special choice. Oak barrel maturing 6 months and over.

SUVLA - Reserve
Mature, strong, well balanced reserve serie of wines. Oak barrel maturing 3-12 months, bottle aging for 3-6 months. Suitable for storing 1-5 year.

SUVLA - Grand Reserve
Mature, well balanced special reserve line of Suvla. Winemaker's special signature. Oak barrel maturing for 6-18 months, bottle aging for 6-24 months. Suitable for storing 1-10 years.
