Suvla began its story as a family vineyard and winery venture in Eceabat, located on the historical Gallipoli Peninsula. Taking its name from Suvla Bay on the peninsula’s North Aegean coast, Suvla revives the spirit of the land where wine was born, realizing the ideal of making high-quality wine. It dreams of carrying the magnificent geography and historical past it belongs to the future with the wines of this region. Suvla Wines are produced from the grapes of Bozokbağ, an organic family vineyard in the Kabatepe region of the historical peninsula, overlooking the sea on the North Aegean coast, surrounded by pine forests, with intense iodine and resin scents in the air, and from vineyards. in selected regions of Turkey that have adapted to their terroir.
Established in 2003 and named after the sons of the founding couple, the family vineyard Bozokbağ has adopted quality-oriented viticulture techniques from day one in order to transform the grapes grown in the most appropriate conditions into wine. The region is known for its proximity to the sea, iodized and resinous air, clayey soil structure and northern winds. It has a very suitable terroir for viticulture.
The organic certified vineyard, which is approaching 1000 acres with new plantings, will be entitled to the European Union (EU) approved certificate as of 2023. Reds from the varieties grown in the family vineyard; Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Grenache Noir, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir, Karasakız, whites; Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Roussanne and Marsanne. Bozokbağ team, agricultural engineers and viticulture experts meticulously continue the vineyard maintenance covering all four seasons by developing disciplines. The local varieties processed are Kınalı Yapıncak and Karasakız, which are specific to the peninsula, and Emir, Narince, Sıdalan, Misket, Öküzgözü, Boğazkere, Kalecik Karası and Papaskarası, which are grown in various terroirs; and international varieties are Semillon, Solaris, Viognier and Malbec.

In this way, 2,174 trees are saved annually and 333,490 tons of carbon emissions are prevented annually.
Another important investment of the winery that is environmentally friendly is the value it gives to wastewater management. The wastewater formed after processing is purified by preserving its various chemical, physical, bacteriological and ecological properties and removing the polluting elements from the water, making it harmless to nature and the environment.
