Suvla Import introduced its imported wine portfolio to wine lovers at the Old Wines Fall Tasting session held at Suvla Kanyon in İstanbul on September 29th, with a wide participation of leading food & beverage sector professionals and influencers.
Approximately 250 industry professionals and influencers attended the “Suvla Imported Wines Fall Tasting,” during the most vibrant period – the fourth quarter – of the food and beverage sector, often described as “back to school” time.
The guest producers at the Autumn Tasting were Montelvini Regional Manager Andrea Nicolò Spadoni from Italy and BOTT FRERES Cellar Manager Florent Bleciher from France. Guest producers had the opportunity to meet wine lovers in person, share the special stories of the regions and vineyards they represent, and after the tasting, they also had the opportunity to visit the city’s most popular venues where their wines are poured.
Since its founding in 2003, Suvla has been proud to be a lifestyle brand preferred by wine lovers for their special moments, with its vineyards, wines, stores, vision in the food and beverage sector, and the momentum it has gained.

Suvla has been growing at a succesful pace with a sustainable investment cycle to meet the demand for its wines that appeal to different tastes and palates, and has set sail for new horizons since its launch in 2012. In addition to its identity as a producer, it also aims to offer its followers a richer product variety and experience by incorporating samples from the world’s leading wine and spirit brands. With this ideal in mind, Suvla Import, the new venture it established, brings together the Turkish food and beverage industry with highly successful wine and distillary brands selected from the most admired terroirs of the world’s major regions.
Suvla selected its Imported Wines Collection from special wines from the old world and brands that have been producing for generations. Focusing primarily on the most admired terroirs of Italy and France, Suvla Import’s world wine portfolio consists of 21 successful, award-winning global brands.
Its import portfolio has been strong since the beginning, reflecting the value of the relationships it has built over a long period of time, meeting and connecting with each producer, experiencing their wines and bringing them to Turkey. The terroirs of the quality-oriented traditional producers of the Suvla Import portfolio can be counted as the Loire, Sancerre, Pouilly Fume, Alsace, Burgundy, Chablis, Cote de Provence regions of France and the Veneto, Valdobbiadene, Dolomiti – Trentino, Tuscany and Piemonte regions of Italy.
Suvla’s imported wine portfolio offers a wide range of wines, from light aperitif sparkling wines to gastronomic celebration sparkling wines, from refreshing, crisp and floral mineral whites to full-bodied complex whites, from light aperitif Rosés to aromatic and intense Rosés, from light fruity reds to balanced spicy reds and complex, powerful red wines.
